Bio

Shelley Rich Manning has dedicated 100 percent of her career to practicing Family Law since 2005, when she obtained her license in the State of California. Ms. Manning graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Women’s Studies. She received a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 2005.

Ms. Manning also studied abroad in London, England at The College of Law of England and Wales. Ms. Manning served as a Judicial Extern to Justice Alex McDonald, California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division One.

Throughout her career, she has done extensive volunteer work. She served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for several years for Voices for Children, an organization that increases awareness about the foster care system and advocates enhancing the quality of life for foster children. Ms. Manning has been licensed as a foster parent and has also volunteered for Make-A-Wish Foundation. She has served on the Harbor Day School Alumni Advisory Council.

Ms. Manning is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Family Law Section. She enjoys traveling with her husband Patrick, who is a police lieutenant, and their two children.
