Jason James Coleman
Jason J. Coleman is an associate attorney with Stegmeier & Gelbart, LLP.
Mr. Coleman grew up in Orange County, having graduated from Esperanza High School and California State University Fullerton.
Mr. Coleman earned his Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College School of Law in June 2008, graduating cum laude. During law school, Mr. Coleman gained valuable legal experience as a certified law clerk for the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
Mr. Coleman was admitted to the State Bar of California after successfully passing the July 2008 bar exam.
After the bar exam, Mr. Cowman continued with his education and obtained an additional law degree in Taxation (LL.M.) from Chapman University School of Law. Mr. Coleman not only excelled in such a challenging program, but also externed for the United States Attorney's Office, Tax Division. His additional education and experience with taxation has proven to be an advantage when confronted with the complex financial issues that often arise in family law litigation.
Mr., Coleman has limited his practice to exclusively family law in Orange County, He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association's Family Law Section.
Mr. Coleman is an active member of the community. He has volunteered for his church, and was a volunteer staff attorney for the Orangewood Children's Foundation's Advocacy Committee.
In addition, Mr. Coleman was a member of the United States Navy, serving as a reservist from 2002 until 2010, when he received an Honorable Discharge.
In his spare time, Mr. Coleman enjoys reading, golfing, and playing basketball. Mr. Coleman's wife, Annie, is also an attorney in Orange County.
